A college football player named Danroy Henry Jr. was shot and killed by police on October 17. His parents, Danroy and Angela Henry, of Eastern Massachussetts requested to access any 911 calls and other evidence that would lead to the truth of Danroy Jr. death. A judge denied their request saying they failed to include any firsthand account of what happened. His father doesn't consider this action a set back and they will continue to try to provide more evidence.Danroy Jr. was killed in his car during a disturbance outside a bar in the New York City suburb of Thornwood near Pace campus, the college he attended. Other sources say he was asked to move his car from in front of the bar and he bumped a police officer and the officer fired. Witnesses say that Danroy sped away and hit two police officers and the third on tapped on his window. Some witnesses and family dispute that account and a grand jury investigation has begun. The Westchester District argued with the parents saying that the evidence must be kept secret until it is presented to the grand jury. In court, this would help the parent find out the truth about their sons death.
